WELL VISIT SCHEDULE
Thank you for the opportunity to be a partner in your child’s health. Please review our well-visit summary and call us in advance to schedule your child’s next appointment.
Well-visits serve several purposes and they are beneficial to both the patient-family as well as the Pediatrician.
- This is a great opportunity for you to address non-urgent matters with your pediatrician.
- Prepare ahead of time by writing down questions and concerns.
- If your child is old enough, you can encourage him/ her to ask their own questions.
- We evaluate your child’s growth, development, social skills, and overall health during the well-visit.
- The appointment helps us establish a relationship with your child during a time when they are not feeling sick and are therefore more relaxed.
- If your child is sick or recovering from an illness, we may have to reschedule the evaluation and immunizations for a later time. A well-visit requires a well-child.
The following is a schedule of the recommended well-child visits, the tests we conduct, and when immunizations are administered, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
For more information on immunizations, the Vaccine Education Center is a great resource.
